Privacy Policy for DocxViewer

DocxViewer ("the Application") is developed as a native desktop application designed to view and read Microsoft Word (.docx) documents on macOS.

1. Zero Data Collection

DocxViewer respects user privacy. The Application does not collect, record, log, track, or share any personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, or network telemetry.

2. Local Document Processing

All document reading, parsing, rendering, and printing happens 100% locally on your device within the sandboxed environment. Your documents and their contents are never uploaded to any external server or third party.

3. Apple In-App Purchases (StoreKit)

In-App Purchases are processed directly and securely by Apple through the Mac App Store and StoreKit 2. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information or credit card numbers. Purchase validation and receipt verification are handled directly between your Apple ID and Apple's servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application does not integrate with any third-party analytics, tracking libraries, or advertising networks.

5. Children's Privacy

DocxViewer is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area) and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because no personal data or telemetry is collected, stored, or transmitted, there is no personal data to access, delete, or review upon request.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Material revisions will also be reflected in the application's Mac App Store release notes.
